Whilst there is a lot of objectionable stuff on the Internet, I personally find censorship a lot more offensive.
I, as does everyone else, have the right to agree or disagree with anyones opinions, what no one has the right to do, is tell me what I can and can't read.
As the Internet grows, there are some insecure governments and organisations that don't like what they see and seek to restrict access to idea and opinions that are contrary to their own.
Amnesty International have launched irrepressible.info to highlight censorship. To show my support for this campaign, this site will be carrying a random example of the material that is censored on the Net today.
Please visit irrepressible.info and show your support too.

I've just noticed that I didn't make any entry in this blog during April. That's the first time I haven't made at least one entry a month since I started blogging in March 2003.
Why haven't I blogged? The simple answer is that I have been so busy. Regular readers will know that I started a new job back in February, well things have just been so hectic, that when I get home of an evening, the last thing I want to do is sit at a computer. That and the fact that I also tend to pop into the office most weekends means that there hasn't been much time for anything to happen (except the car breaking down).
Anyway, I promise to make up for it by blogging a bit more often..... I hope.....
