Back Home (again)

Back from Egypt straight into the chaos of work!

It was another excellent diving holiday courtesy of Sublime Diving. Special thanks to the instructors Matt and Rani.

As I mentioned in my last entry, I took and passed the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver qualification. Now I can dive to 30m/100ft.

I have uploaded my photos, but the captions will take a bit longer. Look for them over the next few days.

Sorry this entry is a bit brief, but I was at work until 9pm tonight and I'm a bit shattered.

Diving in the Red Sea

It's that time of year again. I'm currently sunning myself in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt while on a diving holiday...

This year I am on my own without Jan and the kids as David has his GCSEs coming up :(, but it has given me the chance to take my advanced diving qualification.

So far the diving has been excellent as has the weather. Lots more skills learned, lots of fantastic marine life observed (photos will be posted when I get home), and the rest of the group have all been good fun.

One amazing coincidence, it turns out that one of our party and I first met on the Internet (technically it was MSN Classic) back in 1995. We lost touch a year or so later. It's a small world!!

More news and photos when I get home...
