In case you didn't know, it snowed here today, the "worst" snow for ten years or something. Well it was about 3 or 4 inches. It was no suprise as they have been predicting it for several days.
So, why if its been known about for so long, was the main road here (the A12) not gritted? Why also did so many people take the day off? The roads were empty as were the trains. Why also are the schools all closed? They never used to be when I was I kid. I remember being at junior school and having to walk all the way to school thhrough the snow when it was too bad for cars...

Posted at 21:58Here here.... My school was one of the only ones open in the area... we had great fun... I only had 16 children in! It is all to do with health and safety issues and risk assessment.... people are into this suing culture!!! and a fall over in teh snow could be the end!!!
