Back Home

Well... It's back to the cold and grey of the UK after the sunshine of Los Angeles.

Despite the fact that I was out there on business, I did manage to do a fair bit of sightseeing. Rather than list everywhere I went, you can take a look a my photos.

Highlights
1) The bicycle ride from Santa Monica to Venice Beach (and back)
2) The walk up Runyon Canyon
3) The Massage Chair I saw (and tried) in a shop.

Things that suprised me...
1) Mobile Phones. They seem to be several years behind us. I could only find two GSM networks, and only one of those had GPRS.
2) Nutters. There seems to be a rather large number of (mostly harmless) nutters about. Standing on street corners ranting and raving. I don't know if it's drug related or just mental illness... But they tell me "That's LA".
